It’s so crazy to think that our friendship has brought us here. We would always romanticize our dreams, especially when it came to art, and now, a shot from Ate @shairaluna and kuya @geloyconcepcion feels like a statement of how our “one day” is slowly turning into “finally.”

The world is so, so beautiful with you in it. You’ve always been the prettiest girl in the room, with your love and understanding for others, with how you cry over the smallest acts of kindness, and with how you look into other people’s souls. Your love for art and creativity is what keeps me alive. You’ve always been the happiest in every side quest. You would never trade mountains for bags, hiking for the mall, and most importantly, God above all.

You’ve always been that same 15-year-old Charlie that I met, always the happiest, craziest at times, but what I love most is your bravery to show your vulnerabilities. As you turn 18 today, I couldn’t give you much advice because you’ve experienced a lot more than any 17-year-old or even 25-year-old should have to experience.

I’m so excited for you to unfold this new chapter of your life, and I will be there for sure, as I love watching you navigate life’s circumstances and blessings.
