I recently renovated my workshop and today I finally got to get back to work. Finished this shaving bag to match the duffel I made earlier this year. For not really being a bag maker, I think it came out pretty well.

Just finished this thumb break OWB holster for a customer. I was made for his FN Hi-Power 9mm, which is a new Gen version of the old Browning Hi-Power, just a little beefier built. Because it is a new design, I couldn’t find an exact mold for the holster. I decided to use the Browning Hi-Power mold I had and added a strip of 7-8oz leather to make up for the extra width of the slide. It’s finished in a mahogany dye and black edge kote with a few layers of resolene to seal it in and add some shine to the finish. As always, I lined the holster with suede to protect the finish of the pistol.

Working on a thumb break outside the waistband holster for a guy. He has an FN Hi-Power, which is similar to the Browning, but a little beefier. I couldn’t find a mold for it so I’m using a Browning mold and added a strip of leather during the wet molding process to make up for the added 2mm of width. Should work fine. The second picture is just after taking it out of the 20 ton molding press, so it’s still a little wet. As it dries the mahogany dye will lighten up a bit.

It’s been a while since I’ve posted anything from the shop. Made this duffel bag for myself and a photo album for the hunting club I belong to in northern Michigan, the Antler Archery Club. The emblem is hand carved and dyed with an antique finish. Both were fun projects.

Been a while since I’ve posted something from the shop. I made this “Deer Hunter” belt for a deer hunting friend. Double ply 5-6oz veg tan leather, tooled, stitched and over 4mm thick. This not only looks good, it’s made to last. My custom hand made 2-ply belts start at $50.00. DM me if you’re interested.

It’s been a while since I’ve posted anything from the shop. This was today’s project. Hand carved and tooled holster for my wife’s Ruger LCR, 22 WMR Revolver. Still working on it but it will be done by Christmas lol.

It’s been a while since I posted any new leather crafting. These two holsters were ordered by a Navy veteran who wanted one for a gift and the other for himself. The one he wanted he asked if I could incorporate his Navy challenge coin. Took a little bit to figure out how I was going to get it done but it came out pretty good. They’re both made with heavy leather and genuine Cayman Crocodile hide. If this, or any of my crafts interest you message me and we can work out the details. This particular setup usually runs about $200.00.

It’s been a while since I’ve posted anything on here. I started an Etsy shop but I guess they are not fans of 2A. They’ve pulled a few things I’ve posted like my rifle slings and any holsters that show “real” guns 🙄. So I posted an ad on Facebook marketplace with this video and some other pics. I guess we’ll see how that goes 😂.
