Your doctor has never heard of six drugs that are sitting on pharmacy shelves internationally right now.

Not because they’re dangerous. Because they were approved in Moscow instead of Maryland, published in Russian instead of English, and went off patent decades before anyone in the West thought to look.

Fifty years of peptide science, and the people finding these molecules today think they found them first.

Drop the one you want an article on next: Semax, Selank, Epitalon, or Thymalin.

Let’s talk about saunas. Many believe that all saunas are created equal, and that’s not true. The most effective sauna type by longevity standards is a dry Finnish high-heat sauna. The majority of scientific evidence supports temperature ranges of 176-212 F (79.4-100 C) in the dry Finnish category.

Now here’s what the dry Finnish sauna is actually doing, and why I use it. First, your heart. Heat makes it work like light cardio. Your heart rate climbs, your blood vessels dilate. In a study of over 2,000 men followed for 20 years, the ones using a sauna four to seven times a week had a 50% lower rate of fatal heart disease and a 40% lower risk of dying from any cause. This is an association, not proof, but it’s a strong one.

Second. Heat shock proteins. When you heat your body up, it flips these proteins on, and they go to repair damaged cells, protect your mitochondria, and clean out the cellular junk. That’s your body’s own repair crew, switched on by heat.

Third, recovery. Better blood flow, less muscle soreness, lower blood pressure, and a nervous system that finally drops out of fight-or-flight.

Why all these health benefits? The driver is core body temperature which needs to be elevated significantly above baseline to render effects. Studies have used a rectal temperature of 101.3-102.2 F (38.5-39 C) as thresholds to note systemic benefit. Infrared and steam saunas just don’t reach that level of heat intensity. They have other benefits. Keep in mind that the major sauna research, mainly Dr. Jari Laukkanen’s Finnish cohort studies, used traditional Finnish dry saunas at 174°F (79°C), with humidity around 10-20% and a session length of 15-20 minutes.

BONUS, sweat! Massive amounts of sweat. Remember sweat is part of a three-part detox system that your body has from birth. There’s no need for juice cleanses or detox pills when you sauna regularly.

Aim for a few sessions a week to start. Build up to 15-20 min per session. And then aim for 4-7 sessions per week, ideally. And drink your water WITH electrolytes!

This is a long one but you don’t want to miss it! 🧬

My education platform on peptides is coming soon. Comment PEPS to get an early invite!

A peptide is a short chain of amino acids that your body reads as a message. It docks onto a receptor and tells a cell to do something that cell already knows how to do. It is not installing a new function. It is turning the volume up or down on a pathway already running in you.

That is signaling, not replacement. And once you understand that difference, the ā€œmore is betterā€ approach falls apart.

The peptide is only the beginning of the signal. What actually happens downstream depends on receptor availability, target tissue, exposure time, pharmacokinetics, and the physiological state you are in that week. Same molecule, same dose, two people, two completely different outcomes.

Push a signaling pathway too hard and you do not get more response. You get downregulation. You get a blunted system. You can dose yourself into a worse result than doing nothing at all.

Understand the mechanism before you chase the molecule.

Save this one. 🧬

One overnight step turns your rice into a different food for your blood sugar. Cook it, chill it for a day, then reheat and eat. Cooling reforms part of the starch into resistant starch your body digests more slowly.

Try this hack and let me know how it goes!

Last weekend wasn’t about money. It was about family. Something that gets overlooked when becoming an entrepreneur. So for my dad’s birthday i decided to take 24 lads and give them a day they’d never forget. Not because i can, but because they deserve it.

It’s easy to get lost in a world full of travel and luxury. Forgetting where you came from.

Last weekend we raised Ā£2000 for big member of our group that sadly isn’t with us today. We raised a glass or 10 for you Jord, we raised money for you and had a hell of a time doing it.

Keep your family close.šŸ’™ by @marksflores_

The smartest money I ever spent as a new business owner was on a dinner I didn’t have to pay for.

Nobody gave me this advice. But back in 2019 and 2020, when I knew absolutely nothing, it just felt like common sense.

Education comes from a lot of places. School, books, podcasts, courses. But there is no better teacher than someone who has already done the thing you’re trying to do.

And that kind of education still costs you something. Sometimes money. Sometimes pride. Sometimes just picking up the check.

So take the successful guy out to dinner. Or at least offer to. Be generous. Be genuinely interested. Get yourself into the rooms where the people who have already built it spend their time.

Because proximity is its own kind of tuition. You absorb how they think, how they move, the standards they hold. And more often than not, they will teach you things you could never have learned on your own.

The opportunities are everywhere. Most people just never reach out and grab them.

Who’s the one person you’d buy dinner for if you could learn everything they know? Drop a name below.
