That’s a wrap on International Week of Happiness at Work! 💚

🌸 Asters are taking centre stage! 🌸

Our beautiful Aster perennials are really coming into their own now, filling the plant centre with gorgeous buds and colour just when we need it most. 💜🌿

Did you know it’s been 148 years since hops were last grown here at Markshall?

We’re delighted to announce we’re bringing this wonderful part of the estate history back to life!

This year we’ve been growing our very own hops with the aim of producing a range of artisan beers in partnership with the wonderful Mighty Oak brewery in Maldon 🍻🙂

And now the harvest is in! Every single hop has been handpicked by our fantastic team of dedicated volunteers who’s hard work and enthusiasm have helped make this project possible 💚🌱

We can’t wait to see these locally grown hops transformed into some exciting new ales - and most importantly we can’t wait to share them with you!

Watch this space for more news as our beers are brewed,matured and get ready to pour 🍺

🎄✨ Christmas is coming to Markshall! ✨🎄

Join us for our wonderful 3-day Christmas Market on Friday 27th, Saturday 28th or Sunday 29th November, from 10am - 3:30pm.

Entry to the Christmas Market, Arboretum and parking is completely free, although donations are always very welcome. ❤️

Come along and enjoy a lovely festive day out with family and friends. Browse a wonderful selection of locally crafted handmade gifts, perfect for finding something special for Christmas. 🎁

There will also be plenty of festive food and delicious treats to enjoy while you soak up the Christmas atmosphere. ☕️🍰
