Four weeks of gravel roads, constant weather changes, and the endless midnight sun. 🚐🌅

Claudius Brünn @claudiusbruenn and Markus König @markus.kng hit the road north together in the IBEX 604 D – from the endless forests of Sweden, across the rugged Lofoten in Norway, down to the beaches of Denmark.

Amsterdam, new gear & a room full of creators.

Spent the day at the SmallRig Creator Tour getting hands-on with some of their latest tools, meeting other filmmakers and seeing how much thought goes into the little details that make a setup work.

Always good to step away from the edit desk, test new gear in real life and connect with people who are just as obsessed with creating.

Some moments take a little longer to make it here.

These are a few clips from my last expedition to Svalbard that I somehow never shared before. Back then, we explored the Arctic on a small aluminium sailing boat, surrounded by raw landscapes, endless light and some pretty unforgettable moments.

And tomorrow, the next adventure begins.

This time I’m heading to Greenland on a much bigger sailing sailing boat, the schooner Opal, where I’ll spend the next week completely offline.

I’m incredibly excited for what’s ahead. For the crew, the people I’ll be sharing this journey with, the days at sea, the landscapes and hopefully some very special encounters along the way.

It feels like one of those trips where you don’t really know what to expect, and that’s exactly what makes it so exciting.

Eagle hunting has been part of Kyrgyz nomadic culture for centuries. Traditionally, hunters trained female golden eagles to work alongside them in the mountains, building an incredible bond based on patience and trust. Getting to see this tradition up close was something really special. 🦅

We got a small glimpse into this tradition and the skills behind it. Such a fascinating part of Kyrgyz culture to experience up close.

Our open - air bathrooms bring the outdoors in, creating a unique tropical experience.

Our very first rooms, created in 2016, featured living plants in the bathrooms—a simple design choice that quickly became a guest favourite. Over the years, guests have sent us photos of their own bathrooms inspired by Dreamtime, recreating the same lush, tropical feel in their homes.
