Symbiosis Mexico Speaker announcement: Anton Nootenboom, aka @thebarefoot_dutchman

He walked from Los Angeles to New York. 5,000 kilometres. On his bare feet.

Anton Nootenboom started walking barefoot after his own mental health hit a low, following ten years in the Dutch army. He hasn’t stopped since:

- First person to walk to Everest Base Camp barefoot
- 3,000 km down the east coast of Australia, barefoot
- Los Angeles to New York in 260 days, barefoot a Guinness World Record

Next up: 26 marathons in 26 days, barefoot.

At Symbiosis Mexico, Anton will speak about mental resilience in business: what thousands of kilometres on bare feet teach you about pressure, pain and keeping going. It’s the same conversation he now brings into companies and schools.

Learning from the ancient wisdom of the Oracle at Delphi, Greece.

Together with @conscious_500 we explored this sacred site during the Fall Equinox, at Harmonia. Harmonia is the Goddess of Harmony.

During this change of seasons when day and night are fully equal, we walked around one hour in sacred silence at this site, where ‘Know Thyself’ which is carved in the stones thousands of years ago.

It helped me remember to keep dreaming and thinking big, even if things don’t work out as fast as I hope them to be.

Whoever came up with the idea to build these temples must have been challenged along the way many times as well. Yet, here we are, walking around and talking about it thousands of years later.

Grateful for the opportunity to explore with our amazing network of Conscious Leaders.

The Co-Founder of Google Maps & @panathenea.festival will be speaking at Harmonia Greece 🇬🇷✨

Panathēnea co-founder Lars Rasmussen is a Danish angel investor in Athens, Greece with a computer science Ph.D. from UC Berkeley. In 2004, Lars and his brother Jens sold their mapping startup to Google, and there lead the team that created Google Maps. Lars was next a director of engineering at Facebook in Menlo Park and London. His favorite investments include Canva, Astranis, Neara, Listen Labs, PhosPrint and ResQ biotech. He enjoys boating the Greek islands, kite surfing, and coffee.

Still landing from our amazing Wedding Weekend 😍🇵🇹.

We decided to create it as a blend of the world’s we love. Mixing consciousness expansion with dj sets, grounding, humour, cacao, soundjourney, nature, live music, space to breathe, joy, family, celebration, and of course LOVE.

The whole event was intentionally alcohol and substance free. We invited our friends and family to be in pure presence together. Even tho it felt a bit weird if people would understand it, we did it anyways. And it was the best decision. In hindsight it feels weird that getting drunk or f*cked up is considered normal at weddings…you spent god knows how much on a day where the majority can’t remember half of it due to being under the influence of substances. I’m really happy we decided to shift the paradigm for our own wedding and the feedback from our guests was fully aligned with this as well.

Some people told me before that the wedding day would go super fast. I set and intention to experience it super slow and fully present. Because everyone else was fully present as well, it really felt like the day was like one magical week living in harmony with all.

Can highly recommend this format as it’s such a unique moment in time to experience, and the quality of the conversations and feeling the full emotions in every moment was beyond words.

Forever grateful to everyone co-creating this weekend and especially to my amazing wife @philinekok 🙏❤️🦄✨
