Today, fashion is expected to move at a relentless pace. Brands—whether legacy maisons or independent labels—are under constant pressure to reinvent themselves collection after collection, often before their previous ideas have had the chance to fully resonate with audiences. Following BAGASÁO (@bagasaostudios)’s debut in Paris with Tora-Tora (@toratorashowroom), founder and creative director Joseph Bagasao (@sephbgs) reflects on building a brand rooted in continuity rather than constant reinvention. Rather than treating every collection as an opportunity to start over, Joseph sees each release as part of a longer conversation. His latest offering, “Collection No. 8: We Were Once Young, But Here We Are,” doesn’t arrive with the promise of novelty.
