My favorite girl’s business won Best Massage Therapist at tonight’s Winston County’s Best of the Best Gala.

I remember a few years ago when she decided to step out on faith, following what she felt The Lord was calling her to do. Recently widowed at just 34 after spending 364 days caring for my father before he passed from cancer, she gathered the pieces of her life, pressed forward, and never looked back.

Seeing her honored for her hard work, resilence, and dedication filled my heart.

The perfect way to end 2025!

Thanksgiving - The perfect day to celebrate my 34th birthday.

32 & 33 brought so many challenges:
• 8 months unemployed from a full time job (while applying for 80+ jobs)
• Months of fearing I would lose my house and car
• After the savings had been exhausted - days of not knowing how I was going to eat or put gas in my car had it not been for my closest loved ones
• A cancer scare with my mom.
• Etc.

“I would have lost heart, unless I had believed That I would see the goodness of the Lord In the land of the living.”
‭‭Psalms‬ ‭27‬:‭13‬ NKJV‬‬

Therefore, I waited on the Lord. I remained in good courage, and He strengthened my heart.

And through it all, the blessings were undeniable:
• My faith was and remained strong. I KNEW my Father would should up for me.
• I ate every day, and I always had gas in my car.
• I did not lose my house or my car.
• I was able to help a mentor & friend bring her vision to life during that time.
• I got a job and team that I truly love.
• My mom underwent surgery and was determined to not have cancer.
• I ran to The Lord and got locked into the gym to cope with stress, worries, and anxiety instead of substances.

For 2 years, I’ve been holding my breath while subconsciously being in survival mode.

34 is my year to exhale & recalibrate.
