Turns out, a little movement, fresh air, and trying new things can do wonders for the soul. 🥹🌿❤️ Sometimes therapy looks like a workout, a walk in nature, or signing up for something that scares you a little. I’m just happy I found more things that make me feel GOOD. 🫶🏾✨

Every morning, we have a choice: keep sleeping on our dreams or get up and chase them. 💭➡️💪🏾

This morning, we chose to GET UP! 4 miles down, good company, fresh air, and another Saturday morning well spent. 🥹❤️🚶🏾‍♀️

We wore PINK today for Breast Cancer Awareness Month in honor of the fighters, survivors, and those we’ve lost. 💗 My mom battled breast cancer THREE times, and my aunt battled it too. So this cause hits close to home. I’ll always stand in support of breast cancer awareness, early detection, and the women and families affected by it. 🎀🙏🏾

And guess what? You’re invited to walk with us! 🥰 We do this EVERY Saturday morning, and you don’t have to know anybody or come with a group. Just show up, get moving, and meet some amazing people along the way!

Stop waiting for the perfect time. Start where you are, with what you have. Your future self will thank you. 💗💪🏾

When I say I’m outside, THIS is what I mean 🌳☀️🌇🦆

Walking, working out, riding bikes, swimming, dancing, finding random free things to do… just enjoying the life that God blessed me with!

And let me be clear… I AM having fun! 😂 That’s the only part of this audio that isn’t accurate. I’m just having a different kind of fun these days.

A few months ago, I was outside at the bar taking shots too! 😂🍹🥃 So this isn’t shade to anybody still doing that. I’m just in a different season and focused on a different kind of outside.

I’ve always loved finding fun outdoor activities, especially when they’re FREE 😂, but since I started walking in July, I’ve realized just how much I really love being in nature. 🌿🥹🌴

I absolutely LOVE my locs and wouldn’t trade them, but whew… I can’t lie, I do miss my short hair sometimes! 🥹❤️ I had so much fun switching it up, trying different cuts, colors and styles. Short hair really let me be a little more adventurous. 😂

Now I’m loc’d and loving this journey, but every now and then I look back at these pictures like… 👀✂️😂 I ain’t gone do it!

Picture Day OUR way 😂📸

My youngest two dressed themselves for Picture Day and we had to do a little photoshoot before school because LOOK AT THEM! 😍🥹 And of course, they had to show their silly sides too. 😂❤️

Let’s be honest… kids NEVER come home looking the way they left for school, and somehow school pictures always end up with somebody’s hair out of place, a crooked collar, a weird smile, AND a photographer who doesn’t bother to fix any of it. 🙄Then they want to charge how much for a digital picture?! 😩

So we started taking our own. We get the pictures we actually love, we can print them at home whenever we want, and we save the money. Win-win! 🙌🏾

Now excuse me while we stare at these pictures and wonder how our babies are getting so big. 🥹❤️📸
