What do you see?

A summer crowd gathers on the grounds of the Jardins des Tuileries awaiting the balloon to rise. Unknown what we are about to witness, @_farrahb_ and I wait in anticipation for the marvel to begin.

At the location where the first hydrogen balloon took flight in 1783, this modern piece is an ode to the past, present and future; lighting the way forward.

Carrying the Olympic cauldron (a fuel-free flame, made of water and light) the balloon rises 60m in the sky, celebrating unity, creativity, and the enduring spirit of the games.

Designed by @mathieulehanneur, powered by @edfofficiel , and brought to life by @aerophilesas for Paris 2024
