THE LAST MINUTE OF THIS GAME WAS A MOVIE

OTF Elite with only 5 players somehow held the lead for most of the game. Two players had 4 fouls and they took their foot off the gas up 50-41 with 5 mins left.

Taking their time on offense wiped minutes off the clock, but 5 Pillars made them pay every time they touched the ball. Quickly, the momentum shifted with a crazy 11-0 run after @realmarcuslewis step back three to go up 52-50 and two seconds remaining.

Then, the unthinkable happened. Jump shot game winner from almost halfcourt by @taysav0 helping OTF Elite win b2b Elite championships!

Other Notes:
1. These teams played each other in pool play the day before. OTF won that as well, 52-46.
2. This matchup has definitely become a rivalry over the years. They also had the first and only ever 3OT game 3 years back in pool play.
3. OTF had to really grind these playoffs. It took Double OT to beat Beyond the Arc in a 1st round matchup. Eric Ross missing for them left a huge hole in the paint all playoffs.
4. 5 Pillars had another rivalry game in the final four facing #1 seed PYP. They pulled away in the 2nd half of that game. taken in Chicago, Illinois by @marmedia._

Seattle came to NMBT with something to prove. ⚡️

After losing to this same team in last year’s final, 97 Select came back with a different energy. Electric from start to finish, they brought the intensity, the emotion, and the fight all tournament long.
This time, they got their revenge.

97 Select — NMBT Champions. 🏆
