A quiet moment to pause, breathe, and remember this is what it’s all about. 🌊✨ Grateful for the wind, the waves, and this beautiful sunset reminding me to be mindful and present.

Welcome to The mONEchrome Sessions.

A new name. A new identity. A new chapter.

What began as a photography repost page is evolving into a curated platform for photography, stories and community.

We want to go beyond simply sharing images. We want to discover photography with intention, give context to exceptional work and create space for different styles, perspectives and visual stories.

Our roots are in black & white photography — and that will always remain part of our DNA. But monochrome is more than black & white. For us, it represents focus, reduction and clarity. That's why our future won't be limited to one style or the absence of color.

At the heart of this new direction is one simple principle:

Quality over quantity.

Fewer posts. More intention. More time for curation, storytelling and photography that deserves to be seen.

From reposting to curating.
From individual images to stories.
From a page to a community.

And this is only the beginning.

I have decided to open my books for some beautiful storytelling moments to be made this summer ✨💛

If you are interested.. Dm me!

Let’s share some stories!

🪞 TRANSFORMATION 🪞

📸 Introducing my photography project, “Painscapes”, a deeply personal exploration of living with chronic pain for 17 years after a life-changing car accident. Through this project, I delve into human emotion and cinematic storytelling, aiming to inspire and uplift others facing similar challenges. Each image is a testament to resilience and the power of taking each day as it comes. Join me on this journey of healing and hope.
I would love to exhibit Painscapes to other galleries, to raise more awareness for chronic pain sufferers and to create a place where other sufferers can feel seen and heard. It’s lonely and debilitating to live with Chronic
Pain.

Today I’m thinking about the women whose strength is rarely celebrated.
The mothers raising neurodivergent children.
The carers living with chronic pain.
The women navigating systems that were never designed with them in mind.
Roles that rarely come with rest.

Photography has given me a way to witness these lives more carefully.
To slow down and notice the quiet resilience that exists inside everyday moments.

This International Women’s Day, I’m thinking about the women who keep going even when the world doesn’t see the weight they carry.

Your strength is real.
And your stories matter.

“The most powerful images reveal the quiet truths of human life.”
— Dorothea Lange

As a photographer, I feel a responsibility to keep telling these stories — the quiet ones, the honest ones, the ones that deserve to be seen.

If this resonates with you, save it or share it with a mother who might need to hear this today.

Don’t you just love it when the fog arrives and you get to experience a cinematic moment!

Life is all about moments and this kind of moment really does something to my brain…. Like asmr but visually!

Beneath the stillness of York Minster, in the half-lit quiet of the crypt, the Doomstone sits — ancient, unsettling, and eerily alive.
I photographed it in black and white, letting the shadows trace every curve of the carving — the demons, the sinners, the mouths of Hell. There’s something almost cinematic about how the light catches on the stone’s surface, revealing nine centuries of fear, faith, and storytelling.
The Doomstone was carved in the 12th century, a Norman vision of eternal judgement. Its figures twist in anguish — a warning to those who once looked upon it, now a fragment of another time, quietly surviving beneath the cathedral above.
Visiting York so close to Halloween, it felt fitting to pause here — between history and myth, light and darkness — and listen to what this old stone still whispers.

✨The Weight of Quiet ✨

As the world fades into blue, she sits between day and night — a quiet figure framed by light and reflection. Peace doesn’t always arrive with silence; sometimes it drifts in softly, between breaths.

— inspired by Gregory Crewdson’s idea that “Every photograph is a kind of stage.”

That’s my Masters complete! 😅💪🏼🎓
I’m not quite sure how I got through this year…. It’s been one of my mentally toughest years and I’ts taken its toll….. BUT I MADE IT!

Thank you to my fellow students… @treasuredmemoriesphotographyuk @gracewood_photography and @birgittazoutman_fineartphoto for getting me through this year with your ever loving support and patience and a bigger thank you to my lecturer @skingphoto for seeing my potential, for pushing me to be more creative, and for getting me through the fog. Don’t think I could have done it without your support and words of wisdom ( even when you were doing my head in ) 😂😂

My best friend @jessickabamaloo for seeing me at my bad days and always being there to help me through… I love you so much and I’m so grateful for your friendship and support.

To the family ( Charlotte and Louis) who allowed me to work with them, to come into their home and share their son’s story. It was an honour to tell your story and I hope I did you justice.

@wrexham_school_of_art has been my second home for the last 5 years and it’s been a blast, but I’m so ready to be done with education and get myself into the creative world, working on future projects. The best decision I made was going to study photography at wrexham university because it opened up a whole new world of creativity and how to be a better artist.

I’ll be working from the university over the next year from the shared space and I will be throwing myself into the art world! So watch this space because I have big plans ☺️#invisibleroles #wrexhamschoolofcreativearts #artschoolgraduate #photographer #painscapes #lifeofmine #creativephotographer #fineartphotographer #documentary #carers by @marniebeephotography

🗿The Hepworth Wakefield 🗿

I got the chance to visit The Hepworth in Wakefield and the Yorkshire sculpture Park on Thursday with @wrexham_school_of_art . It was a fantastic day filled with inspiration and ALOT of walking!

If you live in the UK and you have not yet paid a visit to these places… do it! The sculpture park was amazing!
