For weeks, I searched for a bag that combines ethics, health and energy consciousness, with a constant storm of questions and doubts raging in my mind. Is leather and the suffering of a living being on my hands really justifiable? Is vintage perhaps the better choice? Should I use plastic faux leather or glue-filled leather alternatives instead? Does an expensive luxury brand make sense, or will I end up with fast fashion at the cost of people and nature? From a scientific and physiological perspective, the choice between natural and synthetic fibers directly impacts our physical balance. Natural fibers like pure organic cotton, wool, linen or seiden allow optimal breathability and thermal regulation for the human body. Synthetic alternatives like polyester, nylon, acrylic or elastane create artificial microclimates and thermal blockages that trap moisture and disrupt natural skin breathing. Even from the perspective of Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM), the choice between natural and synthetic fibers also determines the circulation of our Wei Qi, our defensive shield and protective function on the surface of the body. The basic principle of clothing is to protect us. Not to decorate us, not to categorize us with brands and certainly not to weaken us. Darkness was never an enemy for me, but rather the fundamental reservoir of untapped potential. Born first as a digital creation within the metaverse, an elemental, luminous circle emerges from the absolute silence of nothingness as the initial impulse for everything that follows. My sensory experience through conscious breath and physical presence in material reality. I translate this code into two hours of mastering circle movement for this artwork.
