Coming soon to a heart near you.

My name is Morgan Lockhart and I am happy to be announcing the launch of my very first published children’s book called “Marni The Girl From Mars.”

She has been an idea baby of mine for 4 years now and it’s been an amazing journey, but I wanted to write this book before this wonderful work of science-fiction becomes historical fiction.

We are going to see the first human be born on Mars within our and our children’s lifetime.

It will be a very special moment for humanity to share together.

One little human will unite humanity in more ways than she, or us, could ever imagine.

Join Marni on her adventures as she prepares for people to come to Mars with the help of her robos.

One robo named Suzie-Q (front left cover) has a hard time getting motivated and finding her place along her peers.

Marni selflessly steps in, with the help of a friend, to find meaningful work for Suzie-Q.

It ends on an an absolute high note with Marni telling her parents about her day and them loving on her as they tuck her in.

“Remember we love you, oh yes we do, And there is always space for your dreams to come true.” ❤️ by @marnithegirlfrommars

Sending out a Signature Series Limited Edition. This is from the very first box of books that came straight from the printer. They came as misprints, ie. no bleed over on the pages where there was supposed to be, hence these have not gone to market to date. So far only 3 have gone out as gifts and the owner/investor plans on keeping it sealed and stashed away for many years. ⭐️

DM me if you are interested in a Signature Series Limited Edition which comes with a signature on the cover! 🖊️ by @marnithegirlfrommars

I have been reading Marni in an ebook format to my 2 year old daughter for the last year; it’s all I’ve had and it has such a special place in my heart.❤️

Even tonight, as we wait for our printed books to arrive in the mail, Emmy wanted me to read Marni to her before bed. We crawled into the rocking chair, she turned off the lights and shut the door, then sat on my lap. 👨‍🍼

I read it to her and over her like I’ve done many, probably hundreds of, times before and it always warms my heart how much she loves Marni, the character, the colours, the space theme, and all the little robos. Now that we have a robo vacuum in our house, she has finally befriended it 😂

I couldn’t be happier with the illustrations from @beccamarshallart , I couldnt be more proud with the final product after the countless hours and 100+ manuscripts I wrote. ✍️

This is my book that I am sharing with the world. I truly hope that it touches you and your family, that it brings you together, that it teaches you acceptance of others, and helps you have grace for others, even if they’re a little bit different than you. 🤗

I love you. I want the best for you. And I hope this book continues to speak to you for many years to come ❤️ by @marnithegirlfrommars

Here is the very first concept sketch I received from my illustrator and shows why @beccamarshallart was the perfect illustrator for me.

Being given only a brief description of the character and the story’s concept, she captured perfectly what was inside my brain. We used the #2 sketch of Marni and the little robo companion from #1.

The deep dark hues capture the complexity behind the story; yes it’s a children’s picture book, but the series will be entertaining for adults too as well as provide some food for thought for every member of the family.

I knew her name would be Marni (alliteration with Mars) and that she would have big crazy red Einstein-like hair (the colour of Mars), but the rest was open to interpretation.

The space jammies are 100% on point. At first I was going to have her changing outfits throughout the book, but loved the space jammies and bare feet too much, so she wears them from start to finish.
