I am positively blessed to work with this team (plus even more hs interns and recent graduates)! This is the crew who I start my day with and I can’t imagine a funnier, more caring, and dedicated group. Reflecting on poor choices? Doubtful. 2nd pic— here he is during an hour sit-in / refusal. Yes. An hour. At least he looks good in stripes. Poor choices mean no videos at night. 🙈😵‍💫🥲 my mom always said, “parenting is not a popularity contest”. Luc had a compliment on his shirt at the grocery store and dinner. The grocery store guy was about 20 and said “dude, cool shirt”. Luc nodded as if to say - “bet”. I love my gentle giant. by @marnonthemoon

One of my earthly angels went to Heaven this morning. ❤️

Charlotte stepped into our lives when things were scary, and from that point on, she was simply there. When being a mom after losing my mom felt impossible—she was there. Through the challenges with Luc”s custody —she was there. She was the second person I told I was pregnant. And through all of Max’s medical stuff, she never once shied away.

I’ll never forget her telling the chief of general surgery at Riley that what they were proposing for Max’s colon was “flippin’ crazy.” 😂 I told Mike just last week that Charlotte was using flippin’ long before Fernando made it cool.

She was Max’s first babysitter for the occasional date night, and man, did she love our boys.

Charlotte was fiercely proud of her family. She’d follow baseball games on some weird app that didn’t even show pictures, but she knew baseball so well she could tell you exactly what was happening. I could write a book about how much she loved her boys and her beloved Butch.

I will miss her terribly. Truthfully, I’ve already missed her for months. Dementia takes them twice. I’m so grateful she stepped into our lives when she did. She was one of the best people I’ve known.❤️. Rest easy sweet gal. Thank you for everything! by @marnonthemoon
