One year already at @b7l9_tunis 🖤🤍

It honestly feels like yesterday that I joined the team, and looking back, I feel incredibly grateful for everything this year has brought. It has been a year of learning, building, experimenting, meeting inspiring people, and sharing countless unforgettable moments through music and culture.

Working at B7L9 Art Centre has reinforced something I deeply believe in: independent cultural spaces have a crucial role to play in responding to the systemic gaps of our cultural ecosystem. By curating concerts and developing meaningful artistic programs, we can create space, visibility, resources, and legitimacy for emerging Tunisian artists often marginalized by official institutions.

Over the past year, I had the pleasure of collaborating with more than 30 projects presenting a wide and genre-defying sound spectrum, orbiting around experimental electronic, ambient, folk, rap, stoner rock, shoegaze, post-punk, jazz and everything in between.

A huge thank you to every artist, collaborator, colleague, audience member, technician, and friend who has been part of this journey. Here’s to continuing to build spaces where music, experimentation, and community can thrive.

Looking forward to what comes next.

Seeing one of my dearest projects grow into something so meaningful, surrounded by a beautiful chosen family, fills me with pride and emotion.

Podcast MIX - 16 marks a collaboration between Radio GRAVE and @dark.disco_ , featuring J-MRGL and ORLOK presenting a dark disco set built on hypnotic grooves, shadowy textures, and driving rhythms.

Blending tension with movement, the mix drifts through pulsating basslines, cold atmospheres, and cinematic energy, capturing the essence of the underground through a sound that feels both raw and immersive.

J-MRGL:
carves his own path with his mix of synth, darkwave, and coldwave. The character of his sound is disappearing textures, sad undertones, and an hypnotic flow that recalls the darkness of post-punk and the beat of electronic discovery.

ORLOK:
As the driving force behind DARK is the new DISCO, a Tunis-based platform shaped by a passion for the darker shades of electronic music, Orlok explores all forms of rebellion against mainstream musical movements, diving into industrial universes charged with nail-biting spookiness. by @marouthedude
