🏡🔑 WE’RE OFFICIALLY HOMEOWNERS! 🔑🏡

Today we stepped into a blessing we’ve prayed for, worked for, and waited for. First-time homeowners! 🙌🏾

This journey wasn’t always easy, but God remained faithful through every step. What started as a prayer has now become a place we can call HOME. ❤️

This is more than buying a house, it’s a new chapter for our family, a place to build memories, grow together, laugh together, and create something that will last.

“The LORD has done great things for us, and we are filled with joy.” — Psalm 126:3

Thank you to everyone who prayed for us, encouraged us, and helped us along the way. We’re beyond grateful.

From prayers ➡️ to keys. 🏡🔑

🎓 FINAL SEMESTER, HERE I COME! 🙌🏾🔥

Monday officially starts my final semester at Southern New Hampshire University (SNHU), and I’m taking a moment to thank God and reflect on how far I’ve come.

🏆 Honor Roll — 4 semesters in a row
⭐ Dean’s List — 2 semesters in a row
📚 3.583 cumulative GPA
🎓 Associate of Science in Criminal Justice
🏅 Proud member of The National Society of Leadership and Success (NSLS)

Balancing school with the military, law enforcement, ministry, and family hasn’t always been easy, but I stayed focused, disciplined, and determined. There were plenty of long days and late nights, but quitting was never an option.

This journey has been bigger than earning a degree. It’s about growth, preparation, purpose, and building a legacy. Every class and every semester is another step toward becoming the detective God has called me to be.

One final semester. One final push. Let’s finish STRONG! 💪🏾🎓🔥

Hope Is Still Alive

📖 Romans 15:13

Today marked a milestone that we’ll never forget the very first service of The Current Church! 🙌

Our hearts are full of gratitude for everyone who came, worshiped, prayed, and believed with us. God met us in the room, lives were encouraged, hope was restored, and we were reminded that no matter what life looks like…

Hope is still alive because Jesus is alive.

This is only the beginning of what God is going to do in our church, our community, and through every person who calls The Current Church home.

If you couldn’t make it today, we’d love to see you next Sunday. Come as you are and experience a place Where Hope Flows.

Thank you to every volunteer, every guest, every prayer, and every person who has supported this vision. We can’t wait to see what God has in store.

“May the God of hope fill you with all joy and peace as you trust in Him, so that you may overflow with hope by the power of the Holy Spirit.” — Romans 15:13

There are moments in your career that remind you why you continue to serve.

I’m incredibly humbled to be recognized as a Hero of the Battlefield during JRTC Rotation 26-08. This award represents more than a single moment it reflects the countless hours of preparation, the commitment to the mission, and the privilege of serving alongside outstanding Soldiers.

Leadership isn’t about recognition; it’s about showing up every day, taking care of your people, and setting the example even when no one is watching. If my actions inspired someone else to become a better leader or Soldier, then I’ve done my job.

Thank you to my chain of command for this honor and to every Soldier who pushes me to be better every day.

Most importantly, I thank God for His guidance, strength, and the opportunity to serve.

The mission continues. The standard remains high.

I'm deeply grateful to have completed JRTC at Fort Polk, LA for the third time, an incredible experience that continues to inspire me after 19 years of service. Leading 8 soldiers as their squad leader was a highlight, and I'm honored to have had the chance to work with such a remarkable team. With one year left before I retire, I'm looking forward to getting back to my regular routine, prioritizing God, family, work, and everything else. I also had the opportunity to teach classes in land navigation, room clearing, search and detention, and EPW, which was a rewarding experience. 177th Engineer Support Company truly embodies the spirit of moving forward. by @marquiskwallace

Honored and humbled to officially be inducted into the The National Society of Leadership and Success at Southern New Hampshire University.

This moment represents hard work, dedication, leadership, and the commitment to continue growing both personally and professionally. As a law enforcement officer, Army National Guard Soldier, pastor, husband, father, and student, balancing it all has not been easy, but this achievement reminds me that discipline, faith, and perseverance always pay off.

I’m grateful for every lesson, every challenge, and every person who has supported me along the way. This is only the beginning.

“Leadership is not about a title, it’s about impact, influence, and inspiration.”
