In May I had the privilege of taking a private White House tour with some friends. While we were there we laughed, we sang, but most importantly we prayed. This election has brought about so much division and specifically amongst believers. It’s astounding how every 4 years the same fights/arguments come up. Just like we get the choice to choose Christ, my prayer is that we continue to have many other choices in the future. God does not override our free will, and we don’t get to override the will of others. I’m not a 1 issue voter and I do believe that character matters. Fruits of the spirit matters. Caring for the poor and the least of them matters. I pray that everyone exercises their right to vote today. I pray that there is an increase in adoptions because our nation cares so deeply about children. I pray we learn to lead in love. I pray the saints stop with the witchcraft prayers for those who vote differently than you. I pray for peace over everyone heading to the polls, for the safety of the candidates and for our nation.
