Woah, it’s been a minute since I’ve posted on Insta. I’ve been busy focussing on launching Thriving Child International in Thailand.

As some of you may recall, I tried bringing Thriving Child to Mexico during the pandemic, but that was really challenging given the state of the world. My original plan had always been to execute the project in Thailand, but due to closed borders, that was not an option. But now, as the world is finding its new normal, I’m ready to take the leap and follow my life’s purpose. I’ll be going to Thailand in late January to make this happen!

Thriving Child International’s mission is to reform orphan-care by providing family-modelled homes to girls who have lost both parents. Our vision is to replace the outdated model of overcrowded, exploitive, and poorly managed orphanages with smaller homes that focus on mental health, education, and healing.

Children need to be held and heard, especially when they’ve suffered the trauma of losing their mom and dad. Their sense of belonging, security, and safety just vanishes during such loss.
