I’m proud and incredibly grateful to share that I’ve officially earned my Private Pilot License! ✈️

This milestone is more than just a certificate, it’s the realization of a dream I’ve carried for years and the first stepping stone in a lifelong journey toward a career in the airlines. I couldn’t have reached this point without the unwavering support, encouragement, and guidance from each and every one of you.

To my instructor, John, thank you for your patience, knowledge, and belief in my abilities, even on the days I doubted myself. To my family and friends—your constant motivation, prayers, and sacrifices behind the scenes helped fuel my perseverance. Whether it was emotional support, study help, or simply believing in me when things got tough, your contributions meant the world.

This accomplishment belongs to all of us. I’m excited for what’s ahead, and I carry your support with me into every flight. The sky is not the limit—it’s just the beginning.

Hello fellow aviators, influencers, and enthusiasts,

My name is Marrantz. I was born in Haiti🇭🇹 but raised in the U.S., and I’m a passionate aviation enthusiast. Since the age of 8, I’ve dreamed of becoming a pilot. My first time on an airplane was during my move to the U.S., and that experience sparked a lifelong love for aviation. Among my family, I’m the only one pursuing a career in aviation, and I feel honored and blessed to be on the path to becoming the first airline pilot in my family.

I’m currently enrolled in the American Airlines Cadet Academy at Trenton-Mercer Airport in New Jersey, working toward my licenses to become a professional airline transport pilot. I completed my first solo flight on December 26, 2024, my second on January 22, 2025, and I have my third and final solo scheduled for April 2nd before taking my FAA check ride for my Private Pilot License.

My ultimate goal in this industry is to be a leader—someone who inspires and empowers young individuals to pursue their own aviation dreams. I want to mentor, guide, and support the next generation of pilots on their journey.

I’ve faced huge financial barriers. Being denied by loan companies because of my immigration status in the states, it’s definitely played a factor to how it’s made me resilient and hopeful of being able to start my program. With this alone it’s really driving me to go full throttle to achieve my dreams.

Our greatest glory is not in never falling, but in rising every time we fall.” - Nelson Mandela

This journey has been incredible so far, and I know the best is yet to come. I’m excited to share my experiences with the world and, in turn, learn from others who share the same passion. taken in Somewhere Under the Blue Sky by @marrantz.a

First Solo ✅✈️ N569FG

I’ve just achieved a major milestone in my aviation career - completing my first solo flight! 🎉✈️ Despite weeks of weather-related delays, I stayed focused and committed to my goal. Today, I successfully flew solo out of Trenton-Mercer Airport, thanks in large part to the American Airlines Cadet Academy, my incredible instructor and to my lovely friends and family. This journey has been an amazing experience, and I’m grateful for the support and guidance I’ve received along the way!
