BRIDAL SAUNA GIVEAWAY

We’re giving one bride + up to 8 of her closest people a complimentary New Beginnings Bridal Sauna Ritual at Saunawelt, Houston’s public European sauna house in Webster/Clear Lake.

Developed with our Helsinki-based sauna consultant, Terhi Ruutu, the ritual draws on Finnish sauna tradition and includes sauna + cooling rounds, an herb-and-salt ceremony, our Salt & Honey Peel, and traditional birch whisking.

The selected group will take part in a Saunawelt photo + video shoot during the experience. All participants must be comfortable being photographed and filmed in swimwear, with the resulting images and video used in Saunawelt marketing and editorial content.

To enter, nominate a bride in the comments and tag her — or nominate yourself! One bride will be selected by random drawing.

Elizabeth and Dan spent their morning getting ready with their family at the @grandgalvez before heading to their beach ceremony.

Instead of a traditional bouquet, Elizabeth carried her mother's @eternalreefs memorial down the aisle with her, and placed it on a chair for the ceremony.

After the ceremony and some time enjoying the beach with their family, we headed off to Darragh Park.

Dan had proposed to Elizabeth there and they knew it was were they wanted to share private vows with each other.

This time alone gave them space to share their deepest feelings and shed tears for love they have without feeling like they needed to hold back.

They followed their private vows with dinner with their family at Willie G's.

If I were planning a Galveston wedding in 2027… 🌊💍

I’d worry less about what a wedding is supposed to look like and more about how I want the entire weekend to feel.

I’d choose a venue with character. Build in time for the beach, The Strand, cocktails, brunch and all the little things that make getting married on an island feel like a destination.

I’d spend on the things we’ll actually remember. Hire vendors whose work I genuinely love. Give them room to do what they do best.

And most importantly? I’d make choices because they feel like us - not because they’re trending on my feed.

Your wedding doesn’t have to look like everyone else’s.

And your Galveston wedding definitely shouldn’t. 🌴
