I recently turned 37. I don’t love odd numbers but I sure do love this life Iv created.

Feeling extra grateful today for my sweet girls, for my amazing Best Friend, my incredible family and for all my beautiful clients. God has blessed me in so many ways.

This lil fire cracker turned ✨3✨ today! I can’t even believe it. She has brought so much joy, laughter and white claws into my life. She’s the definition of a sweet and sour patch kid. She is a born leader, knows exactly what she wants when she wants it and I pray everyday Gods leads me in guiding her to use that as her biggest strength. She’s a absolute doll and I couldn’t be more grateful for my Mav🤍

So...how many of you have taken a 2 year old camping? 🤯🙀🤪

I just kept saying to myself...”this is for them not me, they need the memories” 😂

I’m not sure if I see another camping trip in our near future but man the pics sure tell a different story than my experience🙄

So grateful for my family and all my siblings and in-laws that step in to help❤️

Today was a bittersweet day.

Father’s Day for Mac and Mav was different. We spent the weekend with family camping in Cascade. Playing with cousins, uncles, aunts, grandma and papa. Sometimes its just so hard to understand why our life’s are the way they are for a little (or a big🤷🏼‍♀️) The things we really have no control over. The way others actions can affect us and our life’s. I spent half of my day consoling my sweet Mac. Because she didn’t get to spend today the way she wished she could (Mav was just stoked to be barefoot riding in her cousins mini dodge saying no) I prayed and thought real hard of how to respond to Macs pain.

I let her talk, I listened, I validated her feelings letting her know it was ok to be sad and it’s ok to cry. Then we switched gears. I told her now that we’ve talked about the hard, sad times and cried it out let’s talk about the good. We focused on the good, the happy memories, the beautiful times and they came flooding in.

It’s so crazy how our brains just automatically go to the negative, the hard times or things we’ve somehow just settled with that still keep us in the same place or state of mind. But just being aware of that and having a switch in Perspective or though can change our whole day...or life. I’m learning how important it is to work through the pain. To talk and listen and let it go and then live in gratitude. It’s incredible what we can accomplish with a grateful heart❤️

I’m so grateful for every single person god has placed in our life’s. I’m grateful to be able to raise these two beautiful, incredible girls. I’m grateful for my dad, my brother Ky, my brother in law Tom and their godfather (aka Ashley’s husband) Aaron for all of you giving my girls such an incredible example and so much love❤️

My sweet lil Chicky turned 11 yesterday😭😭😭 I don’t even know how this is possible! Mac has the sweetest heart, she is wise above her years and is the life of the party. Ever sense Mac was a baby people have just been drown to her. She’s the best big sissy and I don’t know how I’d do it without her. She is the best helper. I’m so grateful for me sweet girl and love watching her grow into such a beautiful young lady❤️ by @marriesue

Happy Thanksgiving!!! Can’t even begin to express my gratitude for my girls. They lift me up every damn day, they motivate me to be better, to work harder, to be the absolute best version of myself, they fill my heart with more joy and love than Iv ever imagined possible. I’m so grateful god blessed me with these two. They couldn’t be more different, Mac has the biggest heart, she is the best helper and I honestly couldn’t do life without her. Mav is wild, crazy, EXTREMELY independent and the light of our life’s. I’m also so grateful for my family, my bestie Ash, my salon family and all my beautiful clients. I feel so loved every day because of you all. I’m just so grateful for God and his love and for blessing me with this life❤️ by @marriesue
