Career highlight. George Clooney!!! ✨✨

This was a bucketlist interview with George Clooney for Noah Baumbach's Jay Kelly. Prepped for this interview for weeks and the adrenaline and joy after was unmatched.

I'm still processing the opportunity to interview someone I've seen on screen and been a fan of for decades (since ER). I still remember the moment I saw him walk into the theatre, and felt that undeniable movie star presence in the room. So it's fitting that he plays one of the last real movie stars in Jay Kelly, which I've seen twice now and thoroughly enjoyed watching. There's something about Clooney reminding us about the magic of movies and filmmaking, knowing the line we'll connect with is "All my memories are movies."

More than anything, my parents are proud of this one and that means the world to me.

Also enjoyed talking to Laura Dern and Adam Sandler - Sandler also stands out in my books in his role as Jay's manager, Ron.

A huge thank you to Netflix for the Canada exclusive opportunity @netflixca @netflix

#JayKelly is in theatres and at TIFF Lightbox this week, and on Netflix Friday

👑 Jamie Lee Curtis!!?!

For a horror movie fan, there's no greater joy than meeting the ultimate scream queen. Add to that the fact that I was obsessed with Freaky Friday as a 13-year-old. I knew every single line in the movie. Tess and Anna Coleman were the ultimate mom-daughter duo for any millennial and Pink Slip's iconic Take Me Away was the soundtrack to my childhood.

Needless to say, this interview for the upcoming Freakier Friday with THE Jamie Lee Curtis is a career highlight and meant so much to me than I can ever put into words.

And Sophia (@thesophiahammons), you're undoubtedly a star who holds her own while sharing the screen and swapping roles with a legend.

Thank you @disneystudioscanada for the opp.

#FreakierFriday is in theatres Aug 8

Couldn't get more Canadian than this with these two gentlemen (and the Canadian tuxedo). In Vancouver to talk to hometown and global stars Michael Bublé and Drew Scott about being co-owners of the Vancouver Giants and getting the docuseries treatment with Prime Video's 'Hometown Giants.'

As someone who has watched all six episodes in one sitting, I can say it's a heartfelt doc that goes beyond hockey to show you the grit and work ethic that's instilled in the junior hockey players, and how Bublé and Scott showcase the real working-class engine of this Canadian hockey team. Shoutout to billet families.

Doing this interview in the arena was also pretty cool.

Interview to follow.

One of my favorite interviews: Tom Hiddleston and Genden Phuntsok for their upcoming film, 'Tenzing,' which follows the story of Himalayan climber Tenzing Norgay and New Zealand mountaineer Edmund Hillary who were the first people to reach the summit of Mount Everest.

We talked about the power of following one's passion, Tom shared how storytelling helps people feel less alone and his own equation with acting and cinema. Genden explained how portraying Tenzing deepened his empathy for Tenzing’s hardships and taught him to cherish life’s impermanence.

Can't wait to share this interview that brought me so much joy. It was authentic and soulful in every sense. Also, Tom has me convinced I could climb Mount Everest base camp so I have new goal added to my bucketlist.

#Tenzing, which played at #TIFF, streams on Apple TV on Friday. It's a beautiful film about the existential weight of the climb and I love the narrative about Tenzing's spiritual connection to the mountain.

Talking to one of my fave filmmakers/showrunner Mike Flanagan on why horror lends itself to a coming-of-age-story like Carrie, which is a solid 8-episode series that brings fresh blood to the Stephen King classic.

'Carrie' episodes drop on Prime Video tomorrow.
