Hungry after strength training and have zero desire to cook? My quick @billa_at pick is the @billa_simply_good Buddha Bowl with a boiled egg.

Quinoa and sweet potato provide carbs; tofu, chickpeas, lentils and egg add protein. There are plenty of vegetables, and the curry hummus brings it all together. Just open, add the egg and eat.

Approximate nutrition for the whole meal:
620 kcal · 33 g protein · 60 g carbs · 14 g fibre
24 g fat, including about 4 g saturated and 20 g mostly unsaturated

A satisfying post-workout lunch with no cooking required.

Why I need this once a year.

We’re simply a group of friends who, six years ago, decided to start taking one trip together yearly. No retreats or promo tours: just swimsuits, dancing, dressing up, lots of laughing and our favourite artist on repeat.

11 women who have 23 children and about as many degrees, careers and professional lives. So these few days away have become our little annual escape from home, work and everyday responsibilities.

This year, so many women of all ages at the hotel came up to us asking who we were. And every time we said, “We’re just friends who decided to do this together,” their faces lit up. I think for a moment they were thinking about their own friends, their own girls, and how much fun it would be to do something like this together.

And that was probably my favourite part.
