For our latest styled shoot, we embraced everything that makes this space extraordinary, from its sweeping spiral staircase to the incredible art and architecture around every corner. Imagine exchanging vows beneath a sculptural staircase, wandering galleries filled with iconic artwork, stepping into the immersive 360-degree Dalí Dome or celebrating against the stunning St. Petersburg waterfront in the Avant-garden. A little drama. A little surrealism. A whole lot of unexpected beauty. Inspired by the wonderfully unconventional mind of Salvador Dalí, we teamed up to create a wedding design that was equal parts romance, art and the unexpected. We called it The Art of Surreal Romance. Taking inspiration from Dalí’s Living Still Life (1956), we brought familiar elements into an entirely new perspective. Sculptural florals, dramatic reds, rich velvet, crystal glassware and a serpentine tablescape created a scene that felt somewhere between a romantic celebration and a living work of art. Nothing needed to be perfectly symmetrical. Nothing needed to be predictable. Every detail was an opportunity to play with shape, color, texture and imagination. Because sometimes the most beautiful designs are the ones that dare to be a little different.
