A spontaneous bike ride before family dinner after the sun finally came out. ☀️ We set out to find a place I remembered from my dad's rehab stay over 10 years ago so I could show it to my boyfriend, but we never made it there. Instead, we stumbled upon something even more our vibe—unexpected, adventurous, and way more exciting. 🤗✨🚲

Yeah, this song actually won Eurovision 🥳🤗

I was a little nervous because some of the few songs I really didn’t like could have ended up winning 😅

I think this might actually be the first time one of my personal favorites won in the end 🤩

As for my other 3 favorites, none of them got any public points from Germany. My favorites ended up being spread all across the scoreboard — from near the top to almost last place. I guess I just don’t have mainstream taste, so I’m often disappointed during the voting 😆
And honestly… I was shocked a few times during the points announcement this year too 👀

Did you watch the Eurovision final as well?
Was it a good or bad year for you?

This time I was the only excited person at home 😆🤭

Hi lovelies,

Back from my family vacation, I was thinking about what music to use for all the videos where I wasn’t wearing headphones or where I edited things a little too wildly 😅
And then I had the glorious idea to use songs from tomorrow’s Eurovision final.

So over the next few weeks, you might hear quite a bit of ESC music in my videos 🎶
I’m already teasing one special video planned for October 😉

To kick things off and get into the Eurovision mood: a wig and one of my favorite songs ✨

I’m still not sure who I want to win this year — I actually have a handful of favorites.
Yesterday I downloaded 21 of the competing songs, and 5 of them already got eliminated. Let’s see if they inspire some of my next hooping sessions.
I think I’m slowly turning into a little Eurovision fan myself 😅
As for my own country Germany … once again, not exactly something to be proud of. Pretty flat in my opinion — neither the vocals nor the music really felt emotional, dramatic, or happy and exciting. Hopefully the stronger performances will end up where they belong if the voting is at least somewhat fair.

I’m so happy that @sound_of_hooping and I had the chance to present what we’ve learned from the @hoopingmad 💙💛 online courses in front of a live audience—and that I finally got to meet Birgi in person!🤗

A big thank you to @siemi_hoopflow and her crew for giving us workshop participants the opportunity to be part of such a diverse program alongside experienced performers.🥰
