It is always exciting to welcome prospective students and their parents to campus for Green & White Days! As our President of Student Government so eloquently shared with them this morning - “Choose Marshall if you want to feel chosen”. Go Herd!!! taken in Marshall University by @marshallupres

Another leap forward for Marshall University, Marshall Aviation and the great state of West Virginia. In partnership with BETA Technologies, we will be adding two state of the art, all electric CTOL (conventional take-off and landing) aircraft to our fleet. We aren’t just imaging the future, we are building it together! @beta.aircraft taken in Charleston, West Virginia by @marshallupres

It was a great start to Homecoming Week! First, “Team Overhead Department” (Toney Stroud and me) regained the championship in the Presidential Quoits Tournament in a closely contested match against “Team Prose and Prognosis” (Chris and Scott - Deans for our College of Liberal Arts and College of Health Professions) … followed by our annual Unity Walk and the naming of our Homecoming Court, complete with spirit banners (check this one out). I’m looking forward to the remainder of Homecoming Week and all that is planned. Go Herd!!! @marshallu by @marshallupres

It was an action-packed Saturday, beginning with Green & White Days welcoming prospective Fall 2027 students and their families, followed by the Athletics Hall of Fame Induction of nine of our newest honorees, and then a nail biter win in our first home football game of the season with a score of 28-26 over Middle Tennessee State. What an insightful conversation last night with @johnhopebryant and @marshallupres, discussing building ourselves and our community of Huntington from the ground up and how even when it seems impossible, it’s more possible now than ever.

An incredible kickoff to the 90th season of the Marshall Artists Series. Big thanks to our ushers, stagehands, staff, and all the people that make this possible every day and all season long. taken in Joan C. Edwards Performing Arts Center. by @marshallupres

It was wonderful to be in DC spending time with West Virginia’s Congressional leaders, their hard-working staffs, alumni and partners. Their partnership and support have an outsized impact on our university, our state and our nation, and we appreciate their leadership and service very much. Go Herd!!! taken in Washington D.
