The wind was light (for a while) and the tide was right (for a while)! @fishtalesrva and I managed to put a few solid fish in the well as part of the annual spring relocation program. Next time I won’t have to drive as far to catch them 🙂.

There’s Norfolk-n-Weigh I’m telling you where @tidewater_on_the_fly took me fishing yesterday! What I will tell you is, he’s a gracious host who went above and beyond at every turn. I thought I had topwater game but @fishtalesrva put on a clinic this morning! I eventually got in on the action and the Striper hits were addictive. I also went out earlier this week and caught my first and second walleye on back-to-back casts! This spring run has been full of surprises.
