Create Art / Not Content / What does this mean? To me it means to create organically from the heart. With the immediate gratification nature of social media and everyone wanting to be the next big “influencer”, we can easily get caught up in that rat race - merely creating content to be robotically consumed and exploited, rather than a delicious piece to be savored. by @marsnever

Should I revisit this?? I thought it would be a cool effect drawing all over this box, but it has such a difficult coating to work with! The ink stays “wet” for so long on it, it’s hard not to smudge it all every time. V stressful. 😅 Ah, who am I kidding? Challenge accepted. #marsnever by @marsnever

The Art of Letters // Had to represent for the @calligraphymasters x @lettering_daily x @speedball_calligraphy #speedballtextbookchallenge! I love calligraphy but as the majority of entries were in that style I wanted to do something more on the street side of lettering. I grew up around this kind of lettering art and it will always be my first love! by @marsnever

HOLD // Tactical brush pen action! I love the very organic texture brush gives, even though it can be a little harder to control. #marsnever by @marsnever

Master/slave // Inspired by a photo from @_ikeuchi.

It made me think of a tech inclined character forced to constantly be connected to datamine information for whatever conglomerate corporation they fell afoul of.

Definitely some Ghost In The Shell + Johnny Mnemonic feels here! #marsnever by @marsnever

Kobe Starks // I finished this commissioned piece last year but never posted it. It’s Kobe Bryant (RIP) as Ironman. I went with the MCU MK III suit because that’s always been such a clean design and also HAD to do an homage to the OG Infinity Gauntlet cover. The Kobe/Ironman concept’s been done before but I think I held my own with a new take on it!

What do you think? #mambamentality #marsneversleeps by @marsnever
