It’s been a moment since I’ve FELT a book have a hold on me the way this series has. I finished it this morning and I’m now just devastated that it’s over and I have to wait for book 4, because that cliffhanger!!! 😭
I don’t know how people can hate this book and the only thing I can think of, is it’s comparable to the hate on Crescent City. Both are just incredibly detailed and filled with so much emotion. 🔥
I have no clue how I’m supposed to pull myself out of the slump after this one. But I have a full re-read of the rest of CC3, ACOWAR, AOFRAS, & ACOSF before October 🙃. So much better get it together soon. by @marsupial

Siren and I had a BIG weekend at Purina Farms. Gateway Australian Shepherd Club put on a national specialty that was not like any other show I’ve been to before. Very busy schedule for Si and I competing in 2 conformation shows and 4 agility runs a day. Like always Siren means business when she shows. She placed in some of her classes, but a win on Sat taking Reserve to a major and a HUGE win our last day taking WB, BOW, and BOS. She also got her Novice Jumpers ASCA agility title. I’m so proud of her and her patience with everything. She was tired at the end of it all and appreciated the 4 hour drive home to snooze. Our first ASCA show ever was not a miss. She also got one leg in Novice Regular! So proud of this beautiful girl and her ability to take on anything I throw her way. by @marsupial

I’m doing a re-read of all SJM books before ACOTAR 6/7 comes out later this year. I finished CC1 and the re-read was so incredibly emotional for me this go around. It was the first SJM book I ever read in 2021 and it’s still my favorite. Re-reading a book is like welcoming home an old friend. If you haven’t read CC, I highly recommend it. Of all SJM’s worlds, Lunathion is one of my favorites. by @marsupial

I’m so very proud of this kid. He received 2 awards today and 1 yesterday that I forgot to take a picture of, but I know how hard he worked to earn them. 💜 love you buddy by @marsupial

My beautiful niece turned 2 last Thursday. It’s been an absolute joy to watch her grow up and to watch my sister and brother in law become incredible parents. This little girl is such a beautiful soul and the blessing she’s brought to everyone’s lives is notable. I love you so much Penny Jane. Happy birthday baby girl.

We also got to meet baby Korinne-finally 😂!! It took everything I had to hold back tears Saturday from the joy of all the kids. Liam was over the moon to meet her. I’m forever grateful that she was bestowed upon Bella and Kody’s lives. Two people who deserved this blessing more than anyone I know. 💜🥹 by @marsupial
