Hey there, I’m Marta—just a girl in her twenties (soon enough, I will be ending my 3rd decade), living her best life and embracing every experience that comes my way! 💫 From spontaneous adventures to chasing the wildest dreams, I’m all about following my heart (at least I am trying; intuition is interesting) and letting life take me wherever it’s meant. Right now, I’m working towards my dreams, and for the first time in a long time, I’m loving the journey itself. 💖

Life isn’t that serious.

You can literally decide to spend six months living on a sailboat, sailing through Norway, cleaning plastic off remote coastlines, swimming in freezing water, and calling it your normal Thursday.

A few months ago, I had no idea this would be my life. Now I wake up surrounded by mountains and spend my days giving the ocean a little bit of love back.

Life is crazy. One day you get robbed in Chile, then you come across a post about volunteering in Norway, and the next thing you know, you are cleaning beaches of marine litter! by @martaventures

One of my favourite memories from last month in Orkney. ❤️

Right next to the beaches we were cleaning was a breeding ground for these little cuties. Puffins might look funny and clumsy, but they are incredibly resilient little birds, spending most of their lives out at sea before returning to land each year to nest.

Watching them waddle around the cliffs right next to us was insane! ✨

Moments like these are a reminder of why I keep coming back to ocean conservation. Knowing the beaches around their breeding grounds are cleaner because of the work we’re doing makes me so happy!

My goal in life is pretty simple: surround myself with people who make me smile the biggest and laugh the loudest.

I’ve learned that it doesn’t really matter where I am or what I’m doing. As long as I’m sharing the moment with my favorite people, life feels good.
