Can’t wait to see The Great Awakening. It was no accident that the Lord prompted me to focus the current 24/7 prayer bulletin on the spirit of religion. George Whitfield is mentioned twice. The bulletin was released at the last week, just as the film was. I didn’t realize that was happening until after I was almost finished writing the content for the bulletin. That’s double mention!

Those of us who are prophetic need to pray into the revelation God has for us related to what occurred In Philadelphia through George Whitfield and what we are to do with it. by @martha.ray.dean

Prayer bulletin #2 from January. These are released every two weeks as part of an initiative from Philadelphia Tabernacle of David to cover the city in prayer and create a spiritual atmosphere in which the millions of visitors coming for our 250th anniversary encounter the presence of God. Since the beginning of the year, the Philadelphia Tabernacle of David has initiated a prayer covering over the city designed to create a spiritual atmosphere in which the millions of visitors coming to join in the 250th celebrations of our nation encounter the presence of God. We release bulletins every two weeks to support these prayers and encourage all participating to be in one accord. Please join us in prayer. Philadelphia‘s new website devoted to prayer has been launched. Please check it out and share with others. New content will be added monthly, developed by ministry leaders and prayer warriors throughout the region, upcoming prayer initiatives and local prayer groups open for folks to join, as well. So, if you know of any that aren’t included in our lists of events or meetings, let us know. And in case you’re wondering, the 215 stands for Philadelphia’s first area code, a homage to our history. by @martha.ray.dean

Descended from a many great-grandfather who came here in 1692, seeking refuge from religious persecution in William Penn's City of Brotherly Love, what a privilege to pray for Philadelphia from Independence Mall at the National Day of Prayer.
