Never in my wildest dreams did I think I’d be making music with some of the world’s finest musicians in France. It’s hard to put into words just how much these past 10 days have meant to me. I feel so incredibly lucky to have had the chance to grow, connect, and create music alongside artists I’ve long admired.

It means the world to me that @jeanyvesthibaudet, @gautiercapucon and @musiqueetvin_closvougeot believed in me and turned what once felt like a distant dream into reality. This chapter has left an imprint on my heart that I’ll carry forever. 🤍🍷🎶🇫🇷

🪩 Sneak peak of my recital next Saturday 3/25 2PM in Thayer Hall! Works by Mozart, Bax, Martin, Gianopoulos, Villa-Lobos and Weber. So looking forward to it, and would be so great to see everyone there ✨

Touring with @vfco_chamber.orchestra has taken me around the globe, but the past two weeks in Shenzhen were extra special as I was performing just across the river from my hometown. It was a perfect full-circle moment to share the stage with an orchestra so dear to my heart, made even better by the amazing friends alongside me. We performed, laughed, and absolutely feasted our way through it all🤣
So immensely grateful for every bit of it! Xiexie for all the beautiful memories and until next time🤍 taken in Shenzhen Futian by @marthacwh

It was a real privilege to stand before everyone today, on behalf of all of Jim’s students, to try to express something that’s hard to put into words:

For so many years—decades, really—he has been so much more than just our teacher. He has been a mentor, a role model, and, for many of us, the coolest flute dad. He has been there to cheer us on in our best moments, to help us through the tough ones, and to believe in us—even when we didn’t believe in ourselves. What he has given us goes far beyond just the technical side of music. He has given us a deep love for music, a fierce respect for craft, and a model for generosity and grace. His influence on how we play is undeniable, but even more than that, his impact on who we are as people is something we will cherish forever. 🤍 taken in Colburn School by @marthacwh
