Join us this Friday at the opening of ‘ ... A PLACE WHERE CONTRARIES ARE EQUALLY TRUE ‘ brings together works that examine the relationship between objects, images and the meanings assigned to them.

Across the exhibition, familiar forms appear in unexpected contexts; images can suggest tenderness and unease at once; objects resist a single, fixed reading.

Rather than presenting meaning as inherent to an image, the exhibition considers how it takes shape through perception, and how the same work can produce different, even contradictory responses.

Tomorrow the fourth group exhibition of @houseofbones_collective called Interlaced Grounds will open at @blanco_platform ‘s new exhibition space in Gent’s Groot Begijnhof. I’m very excited to participate alongside so many great artists. The exhibition will be on this weekend only. Hope to see you at the opening!

This exhibition brings together a group of artists whose practices explore traces, connections, bodies, materials, histories and the spaces we inhabit.
Set within the historic Begijnhof, *Interlaced Grounds* reflects on the ways different stories, identities and practices can exist alongside one another — intertwining, overlapping and creating new connections.

In her first solo presentation in Vienna, Martha Kicsiny brings together recent works exploring personal mythology as a way of navigating the entanglement of technological progress, responsibility and guilt. Through drawings and 3D-printed lithophanes, she reflects on the social, political and ecological impact of contemporary digital technology as an immense hyperobject that can never be fully perceived.
Light plays a central role in Kicsiny’s practice, functioning as both a seductive medium and a force of danger. Like a trap for insects, the glow of screens draws us into the vast yet confined digital sphere, where connection can be both empowering and exploitative. Her images translate these contradictions into timeless symbols: fire raging on the wheel of fortune, cities struggling against enclosure, and ladders reaching towards skies tangled in fishing nets. Revisiting the 19th-century technique of lithophanes, Kicsiny uses 3D printing to create pigment-free images lit by LEDs and copper cables, transforming a historical technology into an analogue vessel for digital imagery. Across works developed over the past three years, she also considers the frame as a structure of power: an enclosure and a gate that controls how we connect and access the digital world.

The group exhibition Until I Touch opened last Friday at @fiatalkepzomuveszekstudioja in Budapest. Curated by @tiffanyfarkas , the exhibition draws parallels between the work of @stipic_dudwarszky , @tomica.radulovic and @marthakicsiny to address questions of faith and doubt, certainty and uncertainty, perception and reality, taking the biblical story of Doubting Thomas as a starting point.

The exhibition is on view until September 18th at FKSE, Budapest, Hungary.

Two exhibitions close and two new open within the coming week. Today is the last day to visit @div.fuse at @argos_arts , Brussels, and Future Icons at @warp_art , Sint-Niklaas. On Wednesday my solo show at @parallelvienna with @horizontgaleria will open, where I’ll looking forward to meeting visitors in Vienna. On Friday a group exhibition at @fiatalkepzomuveszekstudioja in Budapest curated by @tiffanyfarkas , will open featuring work by @stipic_dudwarszky , @tomica.radulovic and me. I’m looking forward to meeting those in Budapest there. ✨
