@marthamysko Martha Mysko is a Detroit-based artist and educator whose work moves across disciplines such as painting, installation, and digital art, eliding easy categorical classification. Her first solo museum exhibition Retail Therapy is on view now at the Museum of Contemporary Art Detroit until June 21, 2026. Her work has been featured in solo and group exhibitions at Cranbrook Art Museum, Wasserman Projects, Belle Isle Viewing Room, and others. Mysko is the Artist in Residence and Co-Head of Painting at the Cranbrook Academy of Art.

Hello everyone. 🩷🩵 Today is the opening of my solo booth at Spring Break Art fair. 🌠✨✨
I am so beyond grateful for this opportunity and would not be possible without Martha @marthamysko, my former mentor at Cranbrook. Not only is she now a dear friend but has always been someone I admired, both as a person and artist. Thank you for curating this show and always believing in me. The process and experience of this has been something I will hold close for the rest of my life. 💟🫂🩷

Also HUGE shout out to @mitten_with_knife, who helped me install this entire show and was the most wonderful human to work with and hang out with. Such a special person with so much talent. Check her amazing work out!!!!!!🌠👯‍♀️🩵

Also shout out to @lukepetela for helping me bring all this work up and being my biggest support. Ever since you’ve arrived in my life the colors of my world are vibrant and rich and everything is more beautiful. I love you forever. 🩵
