With decades behind the decks, he builds sets with patience and fire, a tension that keeps the dancefloor moving. Unforced, steady and well timed.

Vinyl is his first love and it will be his last. Guided by instinct and long-term curiosity, favouring off-centre cuts within house and techno.
Always searching, always listening. Carrying forward the same energy that started it all.

Playing vinyl has never lost its magic for me. It’s probably the thing I love doing most. The interaction between your hands, the turntables, and the records is something that cannot really be explained. The art of mixing, blending two records together: I love the improvisation it requires. To me, it has always felt like playing an instrument. I like the physical side of it, the mass, carrying those heavy record bags.

There’s the constant drive to discover new records and old records that are new to me. Hours selecting records and carefully prepping what to bring.
I never build a roadmap for a set. The records come with me, but which ones I’ll play and when only reveals itself in the moment. Every selection is guided by the room, the people, and the energy between them. Sometimes that leads somewhere extraordinary, sometimes less so, and that is okay too.

So good to be back!

Records!!⏺️⏺️
”Do reels” they said.
And so we did 💅
Cuts, jumps, dances, records, laughs.
Definitely one to remember.
We are in Club Oosterbar, under the green of Oosterpark 🌱
A hidden gem. A place that blends creativity, industrial design, history and underground heat 🔥︎
Thrilled that 𝘁𝗵𝗶𝘀 is our playground.
Love to see you May 30 on the dancefloor.

Just before the next weekend kicks in, we want to say: thank you.

Thank you all for being part of the very first Loos.
It’s been quite a ride setting this up, so seeing you all dancing, smiling, and connecting filled our hearts with love.

This was only the beginning.
We’re excited to continue, grow, and sharpen our vision while discovering where Loos will take us.

More to come. 🤍

Let us introduce, thrilled and with pride, our very own @martijntemptedaudio at LOOS x Oosterbar ⚡️⚡️⚡️

Some DJs follow the hype. He follows the room. With decades of experience behind the decks, he knows how to build a set that keeps a dancefloor moving. Unforced, steady, and with the right sense of timing.

Collecting records since the mid-’90s, his musical knowledge shapes DJ sets that feel timeless yet contemporary. Guided by instinct and long-term musical curiosity, his sound is warm and driving, with a subtle focus on momentum, favouring off-centre cuts within house and techno. He moves freely between styles and genres when it serves the flow of the room.

Always on the lookout for new music, including overlooked or forgotten gems from years past. Vinyl was his first love and, to this day, remains his preferred way to share the music. So vinyl is what he will bring on March 7. Just dance, dance, dance.
