BE COMPETITIVE WITH YOUR GROUP!!⬇️⬇️

If you train with the same group a lot like I do, make sure you guys push yourselves. I train with some of my closest friends and sometimes it’s hard to stay focused and push each other, because we are all so close. However when you play games and do drills make sure you make it competitive and go at 100% THE WHOLE TIME!!! I can’t stress enough how important it is to find a good driven group of guys that push each other and hold one another accountable. It’s the only way you are going to get better and achieve your goals! (This isn’t just about volleyball… apply this to your LIFE)

Do you run the fake shoot?!?

•
•
Note- Use the shoot set a couple times at the beginning of the match to open up the fake shoot play. If the blocker does not follow all the way to the pin on the fake (in the clip) that’s okay… the angle will still be more open than if the block was set in one spot the whole time.

Want to get better at digging with your hands? Try these!

1) Kneeling hand digs

2) Open hand dig to cut shot dig

3) Peel to open hand dig

Remember, when doing drills not every rep is going to be perfect…because it’s not supposed to be. The whole point of the drill is to IMPROVE a skill that you are not good at. You can’t get better if you don’t CONSTANTLY challenge your self!
