A massive stovepipe tornado near Gary, SD.
.
.
.
My first tornado after 4 years of trying. I still can’t describe what I’m feeling currently. Trying to soak in the beauty of this monster as it’s coming towards us. I will not forget this experience. So much adrenaline pumping through my body. This has to be my favorite photo I’ve ever taken. Thankfully as far I know nobody was hurt. It did take some buildings. I can’t thank @georgeduluth enough. This man’s passion for this might be unmatched.

The conditions this morning were absolutely incredible. Last night I kept drawing up these fake conditions in my head for a perfect shot. Very rarely do you ever get the conditions you ask for. By far the most rewarding wildlife shot I’ve taken yet. Back to back days with moose encounters. taken in Minnesota by @martinjrmn

This particular bull moose didn’t have his best morning. This was the first of 5 cows that had turned him away. We have had some amazing conditions since getting to the Tetons. So many more photos to share from my mornings here. taken in Grand Teton National Park by @martinjrmn

I still recall the sound of water coming down from his rack. He gave us a nice show until he disappeared into the woods for the day. taken in Minnesota by @martinjrmn

6 years of driving up the arrowhead of Minnesota. @boxingvictor and I shared the luck of seeing a big bull moose one random summer morning. Then seeing him again the next morning in the fog with golden hour. Who knows how long it’ll be to see I spot another Minnesota moose. taken in Minnesota by @martinjrmn

Paddling into the sea of colors. 🍁

I met @williemaahs during sunrise and saw he was shooting with some film cameras. We chopped it up a bit about the gear he had. The next part he started paddling into the lake for a photo he was seeking out to get for a while. taken in Minnesota by @martinjrmn

Sunrise this morning in the Lutsen mountains. 🍁

A quick trip up north with my niece and gf and blasted up this short hike as fast we could. We should’ve woken a bit earlier but it worked out. The colors popped for a bit which ended up being the icing on the cake.

I was really contemplating on if I should share this one or not. This photo is almost the exact moment that hits close to home. When the trees open up and you’re welcomed with this view. It’s hard to put into words on how explain it. Mother natures paintings will always win. One reason of many of selling my first wildlife lens is because of the failure to ever see a moose. To some people that doesn’t mean much but it meant the world to me to see one. #wildlife #minnesota #moose #captureminnesota by @martinjrmn

Reminiscing on the show this big bull moose put on. The sigh of relief and huge weight off my shoulders. I saw my first bull moose in Wyoming last year and the feeling wasn’t it. Getting that bull moose in Minnesota was the goal.
