POSTS STORIES REELS TAGGED

4 years ago on October 2021, Sisa Rasa was released as Mahalini’s second solo single

4 years later, I’m back again with the same singer, and co-writer of that song for her 2nd album - Koma,

“Kemarilah Tenang” will be the eight song that we write together so far and hopefully your longing for her voice will be relieved

I hope this song will also find a special place in your heart

congrats and fly higher once again @mahaliniraharja

thanks to everyone who are involved in this project 🥰

one day I met @itsrossa910 and I told her that I wanted to write a song for her, so on Dec 13th 2021, I wrote this song

4 days later I showed the melody to her, she liked it but she told me that she wanted to hear the lyrics first so I had to find a lyricist

a week later, I asked 👹 @mahaliniraharja to write the lyrics and told her if Rossa want her to write lyrics, hopin’ that she would wrote it faster 😂

while we’re waiting for the lyrics to be completed, I asked @kitutsinjingo and @victorkws to finish the music first while I was still thinking to write the bridge melody 😅

after waiting for 2 months I finally got the lyrics on Feb 19th ‘22. since I got infected with covid again, I couldn’t attend the workshop on that day so I asked @kitutsinjingo and @abram_al to replace me 😌

finally on Oct 20th, we had our vocal recording session with our lovely vocal director @barsenabest 🥸 it was super fun and done super fast

I also wrote the other song called “Intro” alongside with @gayatrichandra and Alex, after I met Rossa on April 26th last year and recorded on May 21st

I never thought that these songs will be included in her album so I’m extremely happy 🥳

last but not the least thank you to the best vocal editor @heryalesis don’t worry you’re not a ghost 🤣

I hope you love this song as much as I do

her album is available on all digital streaming platforms from Feb 10th’ 23

please listen to it everyday 🥰

hello again jiwa-jiwa galau, after two hits Melawan Restu & Sisa Rasa, finally I’m back with your favorite singer from Indonesian Idol X @mahaliniraharja for another new songs

this time I wanted ‘em to be different than her two previous songs so I asked @sevriland to fulfill my requests 🧞‍♂️

on May 20th, 22 she and @sevriland came to my place for workshop and I played ‘em several songs without any lyrics from my laptop and they chose 3 songs

and they’re:
Bohongi Hati, written on Feb 6th ‘20, recorded on Sep 9th ‘22
Ini Laguku, written on Dec 6th ‘21, recorded on Dec 19th ‘22
Putar Waktu, written on March 22nd ‘22, recorded on Dec 23rd ‘22

thank you so much to all musicians, arrangers, producer & co-producers, vocal director, vocal editor, recording, mixing and mastering engineers also promotion teams
@victorkws @kitutsinjingo @musicbyseek @msteffiano @topanabimanyu @barsenabest @aldifachrobby @anostevano @heryalesis @kania.indriani
they’re all the heroes behind these three amazing songs

last but not least, I had teamed up with many co-writers before and it’s quite hard to find those who rarely change my original melody to fit in with their lyrics without losing its message and @mahaliniraharja had done it in her two previous songs with me and I believed that she’s one of the best Indonesian lyricist I had ever worked with

I guess finally it’s time for me to say goodbye and have more holidays

now please enjoy her album (especially the songs that we wrote together 🤪) so please play and listen to ‘em everyday 🥳

adios 🙃

2026 is almost over

while waiting for upcoming releases, this is pretty much what I’ve been working on throughout 2026

this year I worked with a lot of new faces. a few might not have been the best fit, but on the bright side, it brought a refreshing mix of new colors to the works

thank you to all the singers, co-writers, producers, musicians, vocal directors, engineers, and labels

can’t tag you one by one but once again, thank you 😘

Berikan Nyama’s short story

melodies like "Bohongi Hati", "Percuma", "Tak Lagi Rindu" or "Hilang Sewindu" have really become my signature style in songwriting—it's as simple as me loving korean songs so much, and that's just what works for me

I wrote this song back in 2024, and usually I keep this melody saved up until I find a singer whose voice I truly love

and finally, I got to work with @angelpieters again! but the difference this time is that she wrote the lyrics herself. I was a bit hesitant at first, but it actually turned out great

after long discussions over the arrangement, the song is finally done! Shout out to @ankadiov & @wizzyofficial_

thanks for the piano work as always, @kitutsinjinggo
thanks also to the vocal director Dennis Nussy

and the last one, congrats to my boss @angelpieters and @ssheebi, whose passion and dreams for creating art never run out.

we’re not stopping until we hit 500 million streams 🤭🤣
gas terus pokoknya!

congrats on your new EP! stay tuned for more surprises!

back in 2024 @raymondadityac asked me to write together, so I made melody based on the chords he played

earlier this year I met this singer @arrcely_evina through @arihideyuki & @mazelfa_

for some reason, I prefer working with someone who isn’t the front-runner or even the winner. additionally, workin with those labeled as “superstar” doesn’t feel sufficiently challenging to me

long story short, I set up a workshop schedule with others to prepare another songs as well.

until we got back on to this track. I wanted to try writing a wedding song since I had already written way too many sad songs.

got the final lyrics after combining every options that I got from @clararvh , @trakast and uncle @irvnat tysm 😘

also thanks to these guys @kitutsinjingo & @barsenabest
I’ve even lost count of how many songs we’ve worked on together

song will be available on all digital streaming platforms this Friday

I hope you all like it 😘

inspired from Percuma @mahaliniraharja ‘s Koma Live Concert, here we go

after all, she simply love the song and want to sing it

thanks to @rsteven & @barsenabest for the new arrangement and vocal production

P.S
everyone has the right to voice their opinion, but those of us working in the industry relentlessly are the one who actually knows the reality of it. in the end, and ultimately it all comes down to your own preferences and personal taste.
