Mercalli and Late Night Bootycall join forces for a special two-part night to bring you Los Angeles’ Truncate. (@truncate_la)

The night begins with a Mercalli takeover at Ice House Radio, then continues at The Way Up until daybreak.

An LA techno veteran since the early ’90s, David Flores aka Truncate has been a defining force in the city’s underground sound. From his work with Droid Behavior to releases on 50 Weapons, Blueprint, Token, Figure, Ultramajic and his own Truncate imprint, his raw, industrial approach has become a cornerstone of modern techno.

From Berghain, Fabric, Movement, Womb, Awakenings and beyond, Truncate brings decades of experience to Houston for a night dedicated to proper techno.

PART I
11PM–1AM — ICE HOUSE RADIO

- Truncate
- Martone

PART II — THE WAY UP
12AM–6AM
- Truncate
- Holloway
- BL/6
- M79
- Kyphae
- Martone

Robert Hood has had a fundamental impact on the music I consume and make. 15 years ago this would have never been on my bingo card.

I’ll be bringing that 90s cosmic energy. See on the dance floor Friday 7/3 at @artclubhtx alongside @dustytombs and @ms.brandy.alexander by @martoneeeeee

Terminal presents DJ T-1000 & Martone

Terminal returns with a night of uncompromising techno. Detroit legend DJ T-1000 (@alan_oldham_) —producer, visual artist, and one of the genre’s most relentless forces—joins us for an electrifying set that bridges raw machine funk with cutting-edge futurism.

Supporting him is Houston mainstay Martone (@martoneeeeee), whose precise, driving selections have become essential for dancefloors across the bayou. Recently having supported DVS1, he is also co-owner of Houston’s premier techno label Mercalli (@mercalli___ ), pushing the sound of space city forward.

Expect deep, pulsing rhythms, immersive sound, and a community of dancers dedicated to the underground.

I’ll be opening for @dvs1hush on Thursday 5/23 for the final @versionshtx party at @bauhaus_houston.

Joe Dismal and Big Sleep will be alongside me as we close this chapter with a 💥. DVS1 has been involved in every aspect of the culture since the 90s. This is a big one for me personally.

My recent mix for on @mercalli___ is available via Link in bio.

Also, on 5/13th I will be a guest on @link_academy_ with @fu.me.rec based of Italy! by @martoneeeeee
