I could have happily never learned what oakum is. Busted cast iron toilet flange was a nightmare to remove. Getting the lead out (literally) was fairly easy by comparison. That stuff was packed tight in there for about 60 years. by @marvelljones72

Nannochloropsis Oculata enjoying some sunshine. I've been "growing" it for about a year. I'll use it to feed brine shrimp (Sea Monkeys/Aqua Dragons) eventually. by @marvelljones72

The origin of my username came up again, because there are people with the given name Marvell Jones. It's the two characters that shared an existence, Captain Mar-Vell and Rick Jones. One of my all-time favorite characters, so I mashed the name together when the Internet as we know it was still very young (30+ years ago). Sometimes I add numbers to it too. Necessity is the Mother of making dumb looking stuff work. Snapped the temple arm on the right side of my eyeglasses at 4:30PMish. I knew the eye doctor was probably closed or closing, so I'm unironically using a "fisherman's strap" to keep them from falling off. by @marvelljones72
