Welcome to MARVELLOUS.GOLF ⛳️🧠

A place for all things golf, mental health and community. Sharing the highs, the lows, the laughs and the conversations that matter, both on and off the course.

Because golf is about more than just the scorecard — it’s about the people you meet, the friendships you build and looking out for each other.

Everyone’s welcome.

Let’s make this about more than golf, one shot at a time.

It’s MARVellous 💚⛳️

NEW STORY

Sometimes life doesn’t just throw you a curveball. It throws four at once.

Meet Marv. Graphic designer, dad of three, 11-handicap. In a very short space of time, he went through a separation, lost his job, had to move back in with his parents, and survived a horrific dog attack that left him dealing with severe physical injuries and PTSD.

He took action by leaning on his mates, going to therapy, and using the golf course as the one place his deeply overwhelmed brain could finally switch off and breathe.

Marv sat down with us to tell his story completely unfiltered. If you’ve ever felt like things are stacking up against you, this one is genuinely worth your time.

Sometimes the smallest step forward can mean everything. ❤️

Marvellous Marv opens up about one of the lowest moments of his life. Sitting in his parents’ garden, listening to his children playing in the home he once shared with them.

Then he found running.

What started as a way to escape his thoughts became something much bigger. Crossing the finish line of the London 10K, he broke down in tears. Not because of the distance, but because he’d proved to himself he could do it.

Sometimes it’s not about how far you’ve come. It’s about finding the courage to start. ❤️

Sometimes you don’t need advice. You just need someone to be real with you. ❤️

Marvellous Marv shares why he tells his story — not for sympathy, but to remind others that even through the darkest moments, there’s a way forward.

And sometimes hearing someone else’s struggles is exactly what we need to feel a little less alone.

That’s why we have these conversations. No pretending. No judgement. Just real people talking about real life.

“Don’t forget about YOU.” ❤️

Sometimes we get so caught up in being there for everyone else that we forget who we are.

Marvellous Marv reminds us that looking after yourself isn’t selfish. Whether it’s golf, running or simply doing something you love, being yourself matters.

Because when you’re at your best, the people who depend on you get the best of you too. ❤️

I’ve spent so long trying to keep everything together, sometimes forgetting about myself in the process.

This week I finally took a step towards getting the help I need.

It’s not easy admitting you’re struggling, but sometimes the strongest thing you can do is ask for help. ❤️

Had the absolute pleasure of playing the amazing Camberley Heath recently with the brilliant Danil, (and his dad walked with us) and Dan. ⛳️

I’d been looking forward to this one for ages and it was great to get some insight from Danil.

The nerves settled pretty quickly when Dan @tehdagolfs filmed this one at the 2nd!

Always nice to get a birdie early doors, and even better when Danil was buzzing for me too!

Golf is about more than just the scorecard.

It’s the people you meet, the experiences you share and the memories you make along the way.

One shot at a time. 🖤⛳️

This is what it’s all about. ⛳️

It’s not just about the golf, the scores or the handicap.

It’s the people you meet, the friendships you make, the laughs you share and the support you give each other along the way.

Different backgrounds, different abilities, one shared passion.

That’s the golfing community. And that’s what Marvellous Marv Golf is all about.

Good people. Good golf. One community.

One shot at a time.

NEVER JUDGE A PERSON BY THE CHAPTER YOU WALKED IN ON.

Life and golf have more in common than you think. We all have MARVellous days, bad days, ups and downs, and plenty of shots we’d rather forget.

You never really know what someone is dealing with away from the course, just as you don’t know what’s happened in the holes before you joined them.

Be kind, give people a chance and remember we’re all playing our own round.

One shot at a time. ⛳️
