Insane changes to the rapids. All the holes are gone and mostly big wave trains remain. But the important part is. The trishuli river is safe again to kayak and raft.

🌲 MORE THAN A CLEAN UP 🌲

It wasn’t only about cleaning. It was about showing what can happen when the climbing community comes together for a place we all love.

Many hands, big smiles, shared food, yoga, sauna sessions, music and a Charity Boulder made this a weekend to remember. Magic Wood looked after us all season and this was our chance to return the favour. 💚

Originally, we wanted to take on the famous, not-so-clean 18-meter drop of the Grand Evia. But after a quick chat with our Italian paddling buddy Kiko, it became pretty clear that risking a back injury wasn’t really worth it.

So, Plan B: Kiko @chicokayak recommended the Grand Evia Gorge – a section below the classic run, deeply carved into the canyon and getting pretty tight in places.

Drops with mandatory lines, plenty of character, and some sweet slides over bare bedrock – exactly our kind of playground!

Sometimes Plan B turns out to be the better plan. 😎
