24🎉……….I once heard that ”The greatest tragedy of man is not his failure. It is his refusal to evolve.” And then again, “The greatest tragedy in life is not death but life without a purpose. EVOLUTION…..PURPOSE…..September 30, 2001, the day it all began. As a kid: Charismatic, energetic, super active, brave, and resolute. Things took a turn though as I arrived at the teen ages. And as I sit here and type this message, I can’t even recall the exact moment when/how that change took place. Maybe it was the fact that I started to become aware of/experience certain things and didn’t necessarily know the appropriate way to process/deal with those things. I do know though, looking back, that was just a child full of potential, that really just wanted to live and be loved, just with no knowledge of the reason for his existence, no known explanation for certain things. Those years serve as a pivotal moment of time in my life and set the foundation for the next transition of mines though. Everything started to come full circle/make sense when I came to know the creator of Heaven and Earth, the very ONE who created my inward parts and knitted me together in my mother’s womb. It makes sense don’t it. Through walking with Him, yet done so imperfectly, still to this very day, I sit here with vision, PURPOSE, dreams, aspirations, knowledge, understanding, & wisdom, constantly EVOLVING, through all my failures, shortcomings, and whatever life presents. And boy this journey ain’t for the weak. You gots to have some heart/some tough tough skin to walk this road I trot upon. Lot of challenges, discipline for doing the wrong things, and lots of unprovoked opinions/criticism, also constantly being made aware of where you lack, the need to be better, and how to do so. I don’t consider this a bad thing though. I was made for this. I’m grateful/thankful/appreciative of/for it all.
To this next chapter, nothing much more to say, fulfillment………. “To the only God, our Savior, through Jesus Christ our Lord, be glory, majesty, dominion, and authority, before all time and now and forever. Amen.” 💫🌍🙏🏾🤞🏾 by @marvinn.p

Overall, through it all, I’m really blessed, so I can’t complain ✝️…..I done been at the highest of the highest ⛰️ and the lowest of the lowest 💫 , but the goal now is to be CONSISTENT 🤝🏾

Saturday, May 13, at approximately 11:20 A.M., I walked across the stage and graduated college.👨🏽‍🎓If only y’all knew the half…I’m not even supposed to be here but I’m really a product of God’s grace.❤️ This degree is more than just something I can use to get a job or whatever I’m supposed to use it for. To me my degree represents perseverance.💫 How no matter what life threw at me and what mistakes I made and received discipline for, God kept his hand on me through it all and brought me through.✝️ Looking back, I don’t even know why I decided to come to college, but I’m glad that I did.‼️ God took a young 17 year old boy in myself with no idea of who he was and what he wanted to do with his life…a young boy who often just existed 🤷🏽‍♂️ and turned him into a Man I am often proud of when I look in the mirror🙂…a MAN now knowledgeable of himself and his God given purpose in this such short of ah life…a MAN who often learned the hard way but is now wise beyond his years…a MAN who deeply loves Christ and has realized life is much bigger than his self. I could go on and on just as I can sit here and tell you all the things I have accomplished in college cause the list runs deep 🤷🏽‍♂️ but I rather tell you my story and shine light on the the Man above who made it happen✨ I done came a long way and God willing, got more to go. To all the people I have met and to all the relationships I have built, y’all made college an enjoyable experience and helped me to live out some of the best times of my life🤞🏽Cape…SEMO…Y’all may or may not see me again but it’s been real and I sought to keep my life/be as genuine as possible in the midst of it all…MARVIN OUT✍🏽 taken in Southeast Missouri State University by @marvinn.p
