Finally dusted myself off and still glowing from Everything in Color…. gonna remember this one for a long time 🤍

Thanks to everyone who came through, got weird, ate some @thesugarbully and danced in the woods under the wildest moon with alllll the fellow Bay Area freaks.

Feeling so proud to call this home 🥹

Big shout out to @sutrofm @_seeeat_ @clubturtle_ for pulling off something this grand on their first try 🫡🧎🏽

I can’t really put into words how monumental this year was for me… so I’m sharing this poem I wrote instead :)

Have you ever tried to hold the ocean?

Only to feel it slip through your fingers,
heart broken as you long to preserve the magic that pools in your palms.

To understand the memory of its ever shifting waters.

Memories that have birthed, witnessed and taken.

Am I swimming or drowning?

I imagine what drowning must feel like,
your body kicking and grasping, wishing it could hold the ocean.

If only to lift yourself up and taste sweet air.

At what point do you surrender?

And accept that you are at its mercy,
neither a tragedy nor a miracle.

Just a speck in a vast ocean that exists and changes and simply is.

I lay back, floating on our salt,
no longer clinging to an
unfathomable, fleeting breath.

Where will its currents take me? by @marvyn.axel
