After a couple of false starts the new volume 1 reading group gets going this Sunday! We’ll be meeting at the shirkers rest in New Cross while @set.social.peckham remains closed. Volume 1 is on the 7th of June from 4-6pm and volume 2 meets the same time the following week. This is a group for beginners, the well-read and all in between. Reading material is free and accessible online and no previous reading of Marx is necessary. The set reading for June’s sessions are parts 1 and 2 of chapter 1 for volume 1 and parts 1-9 of chapter 20 for Volume 2 of Capital. Join the WhatsApp group by following the link in the bio for more updates ☭☭☭

For one month only our volume 2 group will be meeting away from set. As set social will be closed due to unexpected administrative delays our 10th of May session on chapters 18 and 19 will now take place upstairs at the Shirkers Rest in New Cross. This only affects volume 2… the volume 1 session on the 24th of May will be able to go ahead as planned and from June onwards we’ll be back in our usual slots of volume 1 meeting on the 1st Sunday of the month, volume 2 on the second. ☭☭☭ by @marxsetgo
