The Journey So Far with @mary.bashford 🤝

Mary’s journey has never been just about football it’s been about faith, trust, and the people who held her up along the way.

From schoolyard games to the @Saintsfcwomen midfield, she’s walked through every high and low with God’s guidance and her family’s support.

My first season as a Saint!

This season has been one I will never forget, the feeling of scoring my first ever WSL2 goals at St Mary's - a dream. And playing in front of a record crowd of 7561 in the south Coast Derby - wow. Little Mary can't quite believe that. And every moment in between - the long away trips and tough results, I'm grateful for it all.

I knew this year would be one of growth and development, but it has taught me plenty more than I anticipated.

To end the season with the players player and coaches player award is so special. I feel overwhelmed with the support from teammates and staff, thank you for being there and pushing me to be better.

I've loved playing and fighting for my team, and I'm already excited to go again next season.

A season she owned! ⭐️

A brilliant first season for @mary.bashford at @saintsfcwomen, capped off with both the Manager’s Player and Players’ Player of the Season awards.
