Thank you, Pacific Grove Art Center, for helping Perkins Park find a new home. It’s always a little bittersweet to let a painting go, but I love knowing it will continue its journey and be enjoyed every day. Grateful for the support of our local art community MBPAPA and for everyone who takes the time to connect with my work. ❤️

🎨Tomorrow is the closing reception of Landscape | Dreamscape at Point Richmond Gallery.

It’s hard to believe the show is coming to an end.

I’m so grateful to Margi Sullivan for the opportunity to share my work in her beautiful gallery in the charming town of Point Richmond—and to Doug Wittnebel for sharing this experience with me.

Thank you to everyone who made the trip to see the show, brought home a painting, or simply followed along from afar. Every conversation and connection has been a gift. Tomorrow is a special day - artist talk 2-3 and music 🎵 3-5. Hope to see you there! taken in Point.Richmond.Gallery by @mary.oconnorart

Line Through Silence is at Point Richmond Gallery; Saturday is the Closing Reception.🎨
I’ll be there 1–5, along with fellow artist Doug Wittnebel. We’ll be giving an artist talk from 2–3, followed by live music from 3–5. I’d love to see you!
The work came from a desert Jeep trip and that feeling of vast silence and isolation, where traces of human presence made me wonder: what if? It all grew out of that moment and the photograph that started it.
Thanks so much to everyone who’s stopped by and spent time with the show—it really means a lot.❤️

Back to my happy place. One of my favorite places to watch the cormorants. This special spot has inspired more than one painting. 🌊

🎨 So thrilled to share that my painting received an Honorable Mention in the Monterey Bay Plein Air Painters exhibition.
Huge thank you to juror @bbfineart2 for the recognition — having your work reviewed by an artist of his caliber makes this even more special.
Grateful for this community of plein air painters @montereybaypapa who inspire me every time we set up our easels together. 🎨
