This handsome fella will be available (along with a bunch of other new works) through @radius.gallery for their holiday show! Wish I could be out there for the opening but I’ll be there in spirit🕊️🤠 Opening reception is tomorrow night, Nov. 6th 5-7pm and pieces will be available online through Dec. 27th! Always appreciate your support, fam! 💗 by @mary_black_

My first finial top for a lidded jar! I thought I wanted a panther but then a bird took shape so here we are! 😬🙆‍♀️ by @mary_black_

🥰🤠 For those of you who don’t know: I have my MFA in Ceramics from UMass Dartmouth and my work was based around abstract figurative forms. I’ve always loved the shapes and curves of the body and the ways we choose to decorate ourselves. I’ve wanted to get back into hand-building/sculpture for a while but I guess it took me fighting with my wheel (and my throwing skills) to really push me back in that direction 😂There’s a different sense of freedom and exploration using my hands in this way and it feels really great to be excited about my ceramics again🥲💗 This piece will be available through @radius.gallery for the upcoming holiday show. Thanks for looking! by @mary_black_

Hands down one of my favorite things is getting the chance to connect with other artists/creatives🤗 Honored to give @bradleyklemceramics his first ‘real’ tattoo (lol) & pay homage to a favorite pot from art history while guesting at @prettysturdytattoo. & WE LOVE A TRADE so it was very cool to get to see Brad’s studio & pick out a piece of my own from his work! Thanks again, dude!🫶 by @mary_black_
