Our first missions trip was a success💙

From brisket, to boroughs, to beaches, we traveled throughout Texas, New York, and Florida with @thejesusclubs . We got to preach the gospel, pour into students, pray for the youth of America, and testify of Gods faithfulness.

By the grace of God, our ministry gathered 1,366 youth and young adults. We saw 128 people give their life to Jesus, and we prayed for just shy of 300 souls. Not only that, but as newlyweds we got to serve the Lord together, face challenges of living life on the road, and grow our relationship with Jesus in a beautiful way. Being a missionary forces you to look outside of yourself, and capture Gods heart for his creation. And what a wonderful experience that was!

Mary: I served on the media team, capturing content of our ministry moments, as well as preached for the first time at a Jesus Club in Fort Pierce Florida. One of my highlights from tour was sharing my testimony at a youth group, and being able to speak directly with a young girl who could relate to my story. In these one on one connections, I tried to always be able to leave students feeling heard, comforted and encouraged in Christ.

Jodavsco: I was a part of the worship team, assisted with stats and tracking testimonies, and I also served as a host for our youth groups and rally’s. I had the privilege of preaching at two different youth groups, and also ministering one of my Christian rap songs at a Jesus Club. A highlight of tour for me, was praying for a group of guys after a Jesus Rally, and encouraging them to pursue purity.

This was an unforgettable 3 months, that has changed our lives forever. We thank God for every encounter, every student, leader and pastor we got to meet, and all of the places we got to experience. Thank you to everyone who gave supported financially and made this all possible! We are excited for what God has for us next, and we hope to share more soon!

A lot of people ask what it actually looks like to be a student on our Jesus Club Tours…

Here’s a little glimpse.👀

This was during our training week before we hit the road. One of our students, Mary, put together a day in the life so you can see what it really looks like.

Something that matters to us is taking time to pour into our students before we travel. We’re not just going out, we’re making sure we’re rooted first.❤️

We spend time in prayer, in the Word, and we help students step into their giftings and grow in what God’s called them to do. by @mary_pinata
